Laura, the day you were born was the happiest and the most frightened I have ever been in my life. I had this tiny little life that was totally dependant on your dad and I. My sweet angel, you have become a constant joy in my life and the years seem to be going so fast that I try to relish every day with you!! Your smile brightens up my day. It seems you always know when Mom is having a bad day because you will come and wrap your arms around me. Then I hear you whisper in my ear "Mom I love you". It makes all the problems seem so small. You are growing up so fast that I am afraid to blink because I might miss something that you do or say! I have watched you grow from an excitable little girl who would at times bring to the brink of loosing my patience and then with a smile or a hug bring me close to tears. As you grow I see you becoming a young woman and although I worry that we are doing right by you, I know that as long as you know you can talk to us about anything no matter how bad you think it might be nothing is ever so terrible that we can’t help you figure it out. If you learn one thing from us it should be that no matter how terrible things seem we will always be there for you and nothing will ever stop us from loving you. You are my little angel and nothing will ever change that. There only three things that I want you to do in your life and they are, be the best person you can be, remember that you deserve all the good things in life that you receive and that your family loves you more than anything else in this world. If you remember these things I know you will be whatever you want to be in life. You bring me joy, happiness and the knowledge that your dad and I have done something great by bringing you into this world! I want you to know how much you mean to me. I love you angel!
